It's Friday again! (and you know what that means)

It's another round of Stuff Portraits Friday (SPF).

This week's categories:
1) your ride
2) a mile away
3) the reason you love where you live

My pictures this week aren't the best, but that's what happens when you try to cram the night before.

My ride:
my grill
my ride
My brand new Volvo SUV! llllllove it!!

A mile away:
mile away
The County Line BBQ... everybody says it's great. I don't like meat or bbq, so I wouldn't know.

The reason I love where I live:
our house
view out
deck and yard
I have many things I wanted to post, like pictures of the lake or my favorite places in Austin, but since it's too late to go out around town I'll stick with why I love where we live in Austin.

I love where we live because:
We have a big yard where deer come visit us frequently.
It's a one of a kind house, no cookie cutter houses around here.
You can walk around naked and don't have to worry about neighbors seeing, and vice versa.
We have privacy but still live in town.

beautiful house!!!

and that's great about having privacy... when my neighbors fight or scold their children, i can totally hear them. that sucks!

Thanks for making me totally homesick.

The pepperjack cheese bites at The County Line are totally awesome. How can you screw up fried cheese?!?!

What a beautiful house and yard! I think I must have some stereotypical idea of what TX looks like. All farms and dusty. Austin looks lovely with all the trees.

I love your ride too, the house is awesome as well.

Love the ride! Very stylish! Your house does look like it's in a great location - I miss living somewhere that deer wandered around. I even miss the raccoons that would eat all the food I put out for the local stray cats. :) I long for the day I can get out of an apartment and into a nice private house. I can actually here my neighbors pee... not to mention more 'active' goings on when I'm trying to sleep. hee-hee :)

Holey Moley! I want your backyard. IF we go to BBQ, i'll eat the ribs you don't want ;)

You have a beautiful setting! Very pretty house & deck. Aren't the deer great? I love that I have deer visit everyday.
Cool car, too.

Wow! Great stuff.
I'm living with deer and outdoor 'nekkidness' too, but your house is way nicer than mine!

You are so funny. WE almost bought that car! Hubby traded in his S80. The thing was he couldn't find one with the gps or video. He needed the gps and i needed the video for the kids. I love that one too!

Your house looks so similar to mine. Are you sure you're not just hiding around the co

Your yard looks as big as my mom's, but much better tended. Beautiful...
For years I could not be seen in less than a large bathrobe. It's what happens to a mother when the sons get to be a certain age and should not be frightened.
The other morning, I came out of the bathroom after a shower with only a towel around me, and had to drop even that to help a cat.
I realized that it was a-okay, because I was alone in the house.
What a new idea! The empty-nest has many perks, oh yeah.

Hello from Austin! I think we must be a few of a handful of Texans that don't like meat. You must live near my parents, they have a very similar view!
