My Mom flew in Wednesday evening for an Easter weekend visit.
I love being with my mom.
My heart soars when we're near and today was a hard fall down after she left.

reaching to you

It was a much too short visit filled with
laughter and love, pictures and play,
candy and coffee, adventure and comfort.

It's funny because at 17 I wanted to get as far away from home and flee the state of Mizery (Missouri); ran to Texas and never looked back. But now I would be ecstatic to live so near them.
I think, I think, I think, and I hope hope hope I have my parents convinced they're going to move down here!! We even went and drove around looking at different neighborhoods.
This gets me so excited!!
But first my mom will have to retire, which could happen as soon as next year....
maybe she just needs a bit more persuading folks

Easter Bunny brought the Lummins some FINGERPAINT!

First thing Holden did was eat it.

Awww, I feel the same about my mom, too. When I lived with my parents, I wanted to get as far away from them as possible. Now that they're thousands of miles away, I miss them and wish they could be here with me.

I sure hope your mom moves closer to you. Your children sure seem to adore their grandma!

Hope you all had a happy Easter.

Hugs,
Cinthia

I'm with Spikey. Can't do it, can't live more than 20 minutes away (my mom hates that it's not even within walking distance).

Nice of her to visit and that would ROCK if she moved to TX.

Look at those Lummins and the paint. Looks tasty. :-)

I live in the state of Mizzzzery....
you were right to flee.

Just get yo momma to retire and move to be close to the grandkids.

As beautiful as they are, that shouldn't be a hard argument.

Who would not want to live by the Lummin's grandma. I still want to pop in and give her a hug when I am in her neck of the woods. She did a hell of a job raising you with your Dad's help and it shows by the awesome mother you have become. If your parents moved down there, I would have yet another reason for a road trip to see my dear friend and her children, my aunt and uncle as well as my surrogate mother who taught me to appreciate the beauty that surrounded us each day.

Hope you guys had a great Easter. I will be sending you pics of the kids sometime soon.

Peace, love & sunshine ~ Mar

Your mom looks like she's having a blast with her grandbabies. It's good to know that one day may kids may actually want me around. Right now-not so much!

I so hope they move closer!
