update on poop and other various ailments

It's been quite a weekend.
Holden: sick; shitting his pants by the hour; literally have to pry his mouth open with your fingers to give him his medicine now; middle of night awakenings and refusal to go back to sleep.
Sophie: sick; fever, tummy ache, crabby, whiney, obstinate
Daddy: sick; fever, chills, body aches, tummy aches, can't move
Mommy: TIRED! no sleep, no breaks, feels gross, overworked, and underpaid for this job

You'll appreciate what I'm about to post...please, come by, as if you don't have enough poop talk in your own house.

OH NO!

Maybe if you put your new shoes on and strut around the house you'll feel better?

Oh no, I hope everyone feels better soon and you get to take a nice long nap after a nice long shower.

I'm sorry to hear that things are so rough right now.

But I feel right at home on your blog as long as you're writing about poop! That should count for something at least.

Do you remember when we slept when we were tired, slept when we were sick and did nothing? Yeah, me either. I'm hoping the entire family feels better this week and has a great weekend next weekend.

Sorry everyone is sick! Sounds really awful in the Lum house right now. :(

Go stare at your shiny shoes, that will make it all better... :)

I agree those shoes will make everything happy in mommys own little world.

Sorry everyone is sick that stinks. Poor baby holden and his pooping problems that stinks for the past couple of days!

I'm sorry to hear that everyone is feeling sick now. You didn't say you were sick, but you're certainly run down having to deal with all this. I hope you don't get the "bug"! Maybe all of Holden's diarrhea isn't from the medicine, maybe he has a stomach virus, too. Either way, he'll still feel bad.
Couldn't the doctor switch him to a different medicine - one that he might tolerate better?
Take one hour, one day at a time! You can do it!!
Love, Mom
